It can conduct observation and identification of targets through high-definition visible-light cameras and infrared cameras. When necessary, it can also suppress the target with a laser and has a laser warning function.

The system is based on active laser detection of electro-optical observation devices and works according to the “cat-eye effect.”

When a laser enters an optical system with reflection-converging characteristics, a strong reflected return signal is generated due to the retroreflection characteristics of the observed object. The system uses this effect to emit laser light toward long-distance targets and detect the reflected return wave, thereby discovering the position of the electro-optical device.

The equipment includes a high-speed search and warning sub-system, an illumination and laser suppression sub-system, a target observation sub-system, a laser warning sub-system, an imaging turntable, and control equipment.
